Moka’s mobile products are accessible via SMS, providing support for any handset in the market today without requiring a downloaded application. Moka Chat is also available as a downloadable Skype application enabling users to send translated messages to any user on their Skype buddy list.
Moka’s proprietary language translation technology is able to adapt to text messaging slang terms, abbreviations, cultural dialects and spelling errors providing the most accurate language translation available in the market today. Our artificial intelligence-based translation engines are perpetually learning through multiple processes led by our team of linguists and users who are encouraged to contribute to the improvement of our service through a set of Wiki tools. The result is that the more Moka is used, the more accurate it becomes. Moka currently supports English to Chinese and English to Spanish translation, and we plan to introduce additional language pairs as we enter new markets.
Moka is actively building a global SMS and Instant Messenger network to extend the reach of our service across international markets. Moka is currently available on all major US carriers, China Mobile Sichuan Group, and Skype, with additional carriers across Asia, Latin America, and Europe expected to be online in 2009.
