Skype Access Authorization

 First time use (For Skype 3.5 or above) 

If you are running Moka Chat for Skype for the first time, Skype will prompt a window asking for your permission to allow Moka Chat to use Skype. Please make sure you allow it to use Skype.

If you do not allow Moka Chat to use Skype, or you choose to close this window three times without choosing, Moka Chat will not be able to run successfully. You need to re-allow the access of Moka Chat to Skype.

 First time use (For Skype 4) 

If you are running Moka Chat for Skype for the first time, Skype will display a yellow area at the right of the Skype main window asking for your permission. Please make sure you allow it to use Skype.

If you do not allow Moka Chat to use Skype, or you choose to close it without choosing, Moka Chat will not be able to run successfully. You need to re-allow the access of Moka Chat to Skype.

 Re-allow the access of Moka Chat (For Skype 3.x and Skype 4) 

If you wish to use Moka Chat and the access is not granted, you can follow the steps to re-allow Moka Chat to use Skype again.

  • Please go to Tools -> Options… in Skype. This will bring up the Options window of Skype.
  • Please choose Advanced and you will find “Manage other programs’ access to Skype” in the bottom of the window.
  • Click Manage other programs’ access to Skype. You will see Moka Chat in a list of applications of which the access to Skype is defined. Choose Moka Chat and click Change. You now are able to re-allow Moka Chat to use Skype.
